Okay so i'm very new to this mod, I have learned through trial and error what you can and cannot do and what you shouldnt do. Sadly somthing I learned I shouldnt do is spawn where I want to. On maps with a Carrier, (When I play the USMC) when I get killed or bleed out I have to respawn. So I try to spawn closest to my squad but one of TWO thigns happen here. I spawn in MID-AIR and fall to my death or I spawn at The Carrier occasionally dieing when I do (Because I spawn there in mid-air sometimes.) Its become so troublesome that I try to just Fly helicopters. I dont know if its just me because when i play no one complains about it.

Green circles with numbers on them are rally points, you can only spawn on the rally point that has your squads number on it e.g. if you were squad 2 you can only spawn on the rally point that has 2 on it. If your own squad has a rally point up then selecting another squads rally and spawning will automatically warp you to your rally. If you spawn on a different squads rally you will spawn in mid air and die. Green triangles are FOBs, anyone can spawn on a FOB.

I don't think that spawning on another squads rally automatically drops you from a height, but it could be based on the height of the other squad's rally in relation to yours. when you select another squad's rally it will automatically move you to your own, and it might keep your height information when it does.

On Kufrah I can freely select other rallies without fear to spawn on my own. I've had the drop from a height happen on maps with mountains where I selected a nearby rally that was uphill. Haven't done real testing. If possible always use your squads rally point or a firebase.

If you were in a squad how far away was your squads rally from the rally you were trying to spawn on?

You were most likely trying to spawn on another squads rally and were being teleported to the carrier where you probably were spawned in mid air in front of the command post, above the deck.

There is only one time when u can spawn on others sq really point, and that is when u get spawn bug on your sq really( it just become unspawnable, whitout dot), then u press another SQ really and it drops u to yours without wounds or death, even if other really is high on mountain. Saw that, did that, and its working.
Other ways u need parashute, hehe

Never try to spawn on another squad rally when yours is in a building... has a humouring tendancy to fall from height. Provides lulz when people are watching.
