Different M2 .50-cal sounds?

I've just upgraded my soundcard to one capable of ultra settings in PR, either I'm going mad or I can now distinctly hear a difference between the M2 .50-cal on the Humvee/Abrams and the M2 .50-cal on the Stryker.
Other than a fancy fire-control system, is the .50 on the Stryker modified in some way, that makes it sound slightly different to a regular M2 .50-cal?

I notice this also, and i only run high audio settings. To me it sounds like the stryker has a lower rate of fire. I can tell the difference between a humvee and a stryker just by hearing the 50cal.
It seems like the .85 (or was it .86) changes to the 50cals were not applied to the stryker. I can't remember them sounding different prior to that change.

what crazier is that the 50cal sound onthe stryker speeds up if you look left or right while traveling

Happens with helicopter cannon also. Do a fast strafe over the target and it sounds like the gunner is getting angry.

i guess it would even be realistic, since the crows mounting is ways more solid, than a usual mount, and that should affect the sound

Wrong solution, if both use the same audio file.
It is right, if they use seperate audio files, which are records of the original RL fire sounds of the vehicles.
