Project Reality .87 Can't See Spawn Menu

When I start PR and I press "Enter" I don't see the spawn menu. I know its there because If I press enter then I can't look around. Is this because I'm missing a file? Thanks.

Which operating system are using ? i would also appreciate it if you can post your system specs too please .
