I'm not sure if its bugged so I will post it in general. I can not tell for sure if its a bug or whatever else could cause this.

I feel like SVD marksman is bugged or accuracy/damage point is not correct.

I shoot them with very low mouse sensitivity, line up tip of ^ with either enemy's torso or head, wait 8 second without touching the mouse, ( as target is usually not moving) fire by using keyboard key so there is no posibility of moving mouse when clicking.

With this done, I can not hit enemy player at 310 meter. It was in sever with average ping of about 50.

I heard that this new patch has no bullet drop up to 600 meter for Marksman and Sniper. So I wasn't aiming above the target as I did back in 0.85.

In 0.85 I did hit target repeatedly at or around 350 meter in map like Karbara. So I know what I am doing.

I did feel that the SVD was a bit off. I find that I can kill far more people with a Lee-Enfield (that may be because it is more suited towards me) which is weird. I always disliked the SVD crosshairs, and I never seemed to be able to kill anyone with them either, even when they were standing still about 200 away I could never hit them. Quite odd...

The sight is misaligned if I recall correctly. This is because EA f'ed up just about all the alignments:

It happened in Server. It was Chicago hardcore I believe.

I believe its something like 16 seconds after 1.50 prone deviation.

And I think its 1 hour... its 8 seconds IIRC

Is this getting fixed, isnt the SVD one of better semi auto sniper sout there?

I've never had any problems with the SVD at range.

SVD feels fine with me. I am having bigger problems with QBU-88.

All marksmen are just fine for me, the scoped rifleman are just as useful though

M21 is still piece of ****, M16 is way more accurate. Or it just has wrong crosshairs like SWD.

You kidding? I would do anything to have the QBU-88 for every factions marksman rifle...I effing love that gun.

FYI.... the Dragunov is still vanilla weapon, it WILL get changed out eventually, not sure if v0.9 or not but its definitely on the to-do list.
