i say that they should have normal camo in urban maps and have the grss stuff only on maps that it would be more effective. for example in americas army the snipers were stuff similers to enginere in bf2.

PRMM has 4 factions in it, I wish people would stop basing all their suggestions on the USMC.

Either way, this topic has come up already. Indeed, it would be useful for an urban camouflage alternative, at least until the class system changes are implemented and we can see the DMR class seperate from the sniper class. When you say 'the snipers were stuff similers to enginere in bf2' I presume you mean they have a boonie hat. I'm sure the devs could come up with a mix and match uniform based on all the other classes for the snipers in urban environments.

Even if the sniper class stays (which it should), the ghillie suit must go (like you said). The snipers in Project Reality should simply wear a basic uniform, but perhaps with a boonie hat or some other light headgear (such as the one featured in the picture below)

ah ha thanks! but i do not see the need for a 'boonie' hat...it doesnt seem to provide anything apart from keeping the sun out the snipers eyes? sorry for sounding rather simplistic

I don't think the Bf2 engine supports anything baseball related

Haven't you seen the USMC Spec Ops headgear? That's pretty much a baseball cap.

is a baseball cap actually in anyform related to a actual game of baseball?? anyone know where it originated from? being from north london i woudlnt have a clue but as there are a few yanks around here i though tsomeone might know...

Then all we really need is an IED disguised as a baseball then were all set.

looks cool. I like the stocking cap. What would be cool is if you could choose what hat you wanted.
