new soundcard question regarding voip

Hi all!
Firstly, I have not yet had time to test out PR, but I am wanting to try it out.
In normal BF2, I just cannot get the voip to work, which will be essential in PR. I currently am using onboard Realtek HD. So I have thought about buying a dedicated sound card...not just because of VOIP, but just in general, would be nice to have a dedicated card.
I have been thinking about getting the ASUS XONAR D1 7.1 card and I was wondering if there will be any problems regarding VOIP in BF2/PR?
Cheers all!
ps. I also have XP on a different partition, so if voip does not work in windows 7, I can try it with XP...
