hey guys , yeah ... i would say good bye, reason why i leave it :
1. it has too many bugs but i can understand this its a big mod
2. battlefield 2 is outdatet (its very old and have a bad engine)
3. im bored of battlefield 2 and project reality (in PR maps are too big , not many action)
4. i lost interest of PR and bf2
5. i search for a new realistic simulation action game and i founded "operation flashpoint : dragon rising" , it looks like the most realistic game with good graphics and a very nice engine . i played armed assault alot it was the most realistic action game i played and im a fan of it , now i founded ofp dragon rising and wait for the release for a new most realistic action simulation game .
the release times are very soon :
October 15th, 2009 (AUS)
October 9th, 2009 (UK)
October 8th, 2009 (EU)
October 6th, 2009 (US)
now ,good luck in the future with the mod on bf2 and good luck with PR2

it was a great mod

, and good luck in-game

and in real-life too

good bye guys !

Sorry to see you go. I'm glad you've enjoyed PR in the meantime, and it's unfortunate that you've outgrown it.
Maybe you'll see some friends from the community again, seeing as many are interested in OpF: DR, as well.
Anyways, GL with life man.
Also, welcome to the forums Flyboy

THREAD CLEANED
While I'm not a fan of these type of threads the OP wasn't rude about it. So to the rest if you have nothing nice to say dont say it at all.

Urg.... Goodbye threads.
so fruitless
In any case, from the looks of it I would recommend Arma II over OFP II. OFP II looks to be very consolized.

I want to say that PR has been over for me now for some time as well.
Now don't get me wrong the mod is GREAT and has all the features you could ever ask for, but I can't stand the fact that when I started the latest version all the maps are huge and no one in the servers wants to play together. Basically I take forever getting across the map in a vehicle and then someone get's a lucky kill at times.
Are there any servers that run smaller maps with players? I don't want a stupid grenade bash with call of duty type playing just something scaled down some like back in the days of 0.25.
I guess a new version of PR is coming out within weeks now though?
