I was watching a video on youtube, of an LB and black hawk, flying together at top speeds of over 600km . It gave me an idea to post here about the slowness of littlebirds in PR.

There just way to slow.

A technical in insurgency can keep up with the littlebird. Is this possible in real life?

A Dirt Bike in insurgency can outrun a littlebird. Is this possible in real life?



Solution : Make LBs as fast as all the transports Or as fast as the apache/havoks.



Check out how fast the LB can go half way thru the video.

and i think LBs speed is ok now.

Fixed the vid link, doesnt seem to show much though... And I agree they are fast enough as they are imo.

In game the difference between the BH and the LB is far more than 7 knots.

well although BF2 speedometer is apparently screwed, the BH can go like 800 in-game, thats a lot more than 295 even if theres supposed to be a difference due BF2 engine

Well excuse me, Mr. I know everything about PR choppers.

To be honest, I haven't seen any major difference between the LB and the BH. My guess is, I don't fly enough.


Oh and I was refering to this.

This,presumably , is a suggestion, shouldn't it deserve a lock since stealth420, who has some really good sources about the LB's and BH's ability to fly over 600km/h, does not have enough post count to actualy post it in the Suggestion thread?

That would be probably the reason, but its always best to check first, before trying to disprove or state a fact.

And it's always the best to post a VALID source, not a friggin video where you cannot determine the actual speed of the LB and the BH.

The LB most defiantly cannot go anywhere near 600km/h

Like Salkis said, it can't even reach 300km/h.

Ok, just so everyone knows again, the ingame speed reading is not to be trusted.

All I was refering to is that what you posted, forgetting what the OP posted, proved his point that the LB is too slow compared to the BH/BH is too fast, however you want to look at it.

If he wants to come an make suggestions, he needs to post VALID sources.

LB needs to be a tad bit faster, yes.

Brummy said it, and can we stop arguing please, in other words he made an incorrect statement but his original suggestion/question was fine, and we should answer that, not argue about who said what

Well every manufacturer presents a speed obtained in optimum height, temperature, atmosferic condition and of course unarmed vehicle.
So its normal for an armed and full loaded with fuel LB to go a lot slower.

Of course I dont know if the speed in game is the one it should be.
Someone who knows the RL speed of armed LB could help.
