I was just wondering if project reality was sold as a game like CSS because CSS used to be a mod for half-life2.

Possible? i think so

what are your thoughts?

CSS did not used to be a mod, counter strike 1.5 used to be a mod for Half life 1, the valve guys employed the CS 1.5 devs and started developing CS 1.6, which was sold as a valve's game, and worked under HL1 engine.

CSS was produced by the same dudes on other engine ( source), many years later.

and no, EA games will not employ PR devs to turn PR into a EA's game, because our player base is pretty small.

small player number = no ca$h

the PR devs are taking another approach, an indie game
