Community Update - 6/2/06

Attention Soldiers and Server Admins!

The teams here at DICE and at EA want to take a moment to acknowledge that we are aware of the issues that some are experiencing with the latest release.

We are continuing our work to review and find potential solutions to the problems affecting many players and server admins. We are also reviewing recent changes to servers and gameplay.

While we continue our work internally we want to remind everyone to keep using the EA forums to provide feedback. We review the comments in these and other forums regularly while we consider the direction of Battlefield.

We also want to assure to the mod community that we understand the difficulties you have worked through and we are continuing to look for ways to help everyone and find ways to promote all of the mods and their hard working teams.

As always keep your eyes to this space for all the latest Battlefield News.

Thank you,
/The team at Dice and EA

I think the mod devs and players owe a debt of gratitude to Satcom from ABR for this. OK and uh... the recent patch was shite too heh. But Satcom has put a lot of energy into helping to drive forward for mod devs (and players).

This is good news imo. It's like Alcoholism .. once you admint you have a problem.....

Cheers Satcom :)

I'm surprised EA hasn't tried to make it against the EULA to modify BF2, after what happened with DC and all.

Anyway, I have said this before so I'll say it again, EA care as much as I want them to succeed.

I know they're a bussines but businesses are liars, and they don't try to cover it up, E.G. The Bush Administration and The Labour Party.

If EA/Dice are appearing to lend a helping hand to the mods and support the customer it's because AF is done and it's the only job they [DIce CAN]have left.

If AF does well with the expansion (and their standards are low) the support takes a back seat again.

The Bush Administration
lmao typical bring your stupid opinions into this topic

why would Dice/EA do anything against DC, they liked it so much that they bought out Trauma Studios, and they helped created BF2.

I think EA hired the DC team then fired them.
