First off computer info:
Windows VISTA SP 2 64 bit
Nividia GTX 295
8 GB of RAM
698 GB of storage space left
AMD Phenom 9650 Quad Core

Ok, first off I have been playing this game for a while with no problems. This all seemed to happen just recently. I used to be able to play up to 16 hours plus straight without any problems what so ever. All of the sudden I turn on the game for about 1 or maybe two games then I get a Blue screen crash on my computer. I believe it said it was a physical memory dump. My paging file was up there at about 8000 so I don't think I need to up the Virtual Memory more. (I don't know too much about that stuff and don't want to mess up my computer even more). I did see a fix on the sticky thread about using Visual C++ express. I will give that a shot next, but the person stated that his crashes to the desktop. My whole computer freezes and does a physical memory dump. I did the whole Defrag and system clean up a few times to no avail. Please somebody help me. This is the only game that I really enjoy playing and I want to play without my whole computer crashing.

Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

Download and run it, I'm guessing the 8GB of RAM you have 4 sticks, one of them may have some problems, memtest should be able to find out.

Ok, before doing that I reinstalled a driver for the Nvidia Card. I think that it has something to do with that driver being bad. I played a game or two and the game crashed but it did go to the desktop this time. Now, I think that I can use that sticky thread with the C++ program. I will keep it posted.

It turns out that it might have been an easier fix than I thought. I simply changed the resolution from 1400 x 900 down a bit. I think I heard about that problem with somebody else. So far it works 4 or 5 games later. I will keep the forum posted.
