I followed the install instructions exactly...3 times...I'm doing a fresh install of everything and installed BF2, then 1.41, then 1.5 patch and then I installed core, and levels and i get the pr.exe has stopped working error. I tried suggestions in another post regarding the shortcut with no luck.

Everything was installed in the default directory

here is what my shortcut currently looks like:

Target "D:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe"
start in "D:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr"

it wont run off the pr.exe in the mods folder either.

I'm willing to do one more reinstall...but then its one final uninstall

Why did you install on 'D'? Run out of space on 'C'?
Did you delete the BF2 folder in your Documents folder before you reinstalled?
I have a BF2 install on my 'C' drive I use as a backup.
I made a copy of:
C:\Program Files (x86) with :
EA GAMES\Battlefield 2 in it and copied it to my 'E' drive.
Whenever I install or update all I have to do is change 'C' to 'E'
Same goes for my shortcut.

You may need to run a registry cleaner program and do a truly clean install of BF2 and the Mod PR.. Check link below.
