This is simply a poll to find out which loading music people prefer.

I personally prefer the old loading music and I know alot of others do, but I am interested to see how many prefer the new over the old.

I love the old PR theme. Pretty much the part that starts at 1:40. I've always been a fan of crazy modern-esk orchestra. Although, that very beginning part of the theme sometimes reminds of the vanilla MEC theme too much. The only reason the New one isn't as likable to me is when it gets to the part when it I think it plays C and D sharp over and over.

All I know is that the old music got quite repetitive when trying to join a server that kept kicking you out. The music would always start replaying, and after awhile, it started to drive me nuts.

I personally like the new music. I don't find it repetitive at all. I would even go so far as to say it's kind of catchy.

If I had to choose between those two though, I'd say the new music.

Dayng, never thought of sticking my MP3 player in whilst waiting for sign in and map loads...might have to try that . (BTW does anyone else take aaaages to sign in??)

I prefer the new music, old one sounds a bit, IDK, meh. Not too bad though, can see how the start would grind after a while if you keep failing to join servers and it keeps restarting.

The new one sounds more 'modern' and suitable for a game menu.

The start of the old one sounds like the beginning of the Ride Of The Valkyries!

Old one is better IMO. Especially with the scenes in the background.

as for being repetetive...well they end up being repetetive in the same time so you cant really ***** about that part

Admittedly, the audio from the first part of that video used "The Good The Bad and the Ugly", titled "L'estasi Dell'oro" or "The Ecstasy of Gold" which would be cooler than enter sandman

I personally like the new music more, more foreboding, impending, etc. Wouldnt mind a NEW theme though

Also, playing PR nowadays kinda doesn't attract me much. It's too dark, I know war is dark, but really, it's literally too dark. The menu, everything... too... monochrome. Color it up, make it brighter. Get reality across, but don't make it dark!

The current score is a good one, but not best suited as the main menu music, more of a map score imo.

Personally I prefer the old one but it did get annoying when getting constantly chucked out of servers lol

new one could be enhacned, to add some more strength into it, now ti doesnt feel like your playing war game...
