This isn't my story but I found this and thought most of the people on here would find it a very interesting and riveting story.

Gates of Fire

Read it when it was first released and it was a great read then, still is now. I remember when this event happened too. Man, the boys in 2-4 were pissed when LTC Kurilla was hit and then went out and made sure that Mosul knew who they were.

I know a few of them and they all love Michael Yon.
