Hi guys, I think you should bring back the SAW iron sights for spawnable kits and move the scoped variants too requestable kits. This should make the game more balanced.

while we're at it. I sometimes find the zoom levels on the LMG's too high, especially when I want to cover an area that is a bit closer to my position.
What about two zooms like the sniper rifles?

They said they were working on a function to fire efficiently from unsighted in deployed mode.

As has been posted previously, the scoped weapons in PR will be getting un-scoped versions included. This applies to all of these types of requestable kits including the grenadier, marksman and automatic rifleman. The limits remain the same, you simply now have the choice between scoped and un-scoped. Additionally you will now be able to use the AR kit accurately in deployed mode, whilst you are not scoped in.
Suggest that the OP check out the
PR Highlights and
Dev Blogs sections of the forums, as this is a re-suggestion and is already being implemented.

Making scope only requestable would make many people just run around to get the much better kit. Few people choose iron sights when you have undeployed. Its not very efficient...

Well, I would say it depends on the faction and environment at hand. For instance, some factions, like the U.S. for example, have a marksman rifle with a higher caliber than their standard issue rifles.
The iron sighted version may come in handy for quick, accurate fire and potentially more stopping power (due to it's increased caliber) during a confined firefight. Also, the scope may become a hindrance with it's narrow field of view, and magnified optics.
It's all up to the user.

As of now, right clicking the officer kit gives you an ironsight version of the assault rifle for that team.

Commando Jenkins that suggestion is already in-game to select the Officer kit from crates. You click LMB for officer scoped and RMB for officer irons.
