Hi guys, i wanna know how much the rpg takes to stabilize, because i've been waiting for 4 - 5 secs and it still went to the ground in the best cases, or i get damaged.

Thanks.

ive heard it takes 8 seconds to fully stabilize? but i never seem to have to wait that long to make an accurate shot. are you sure your at a full standstill?

After how long is the RPG hitting the ground because it does have a drop. I wait 4 seconds and have no trouble myself.

After 4 seconds you've reached maximum accuracy.

If you do that and fire at a target that's 100m away, you'll hit within 1.7m of where you aim (though you have to account for the drop a little)

This is based on the US Army's TRADOC evaluation of the RPG-7 and it's hit probability. So no "I find yur lak of realism dis7u4bing" comments please.

Thank you for confirming that. 4 sec.

I have clock to look at so i know i have waited long enough. 4 seconds feels like a looooooong time in-game. Still it would be nice with the deviation indicators used with the HAT kit, since in real life you know the divination caused by poor aiming.

I don't think people should be told when they're accurate, part of the game is learning to use and master the weapons. It's what makes that 300m tail rotor shot on ramiel that bit more satisfying 8) . They should know that deviation is minimised after 4 seconds but other than that it should be down to getting a feel for it. I find I very rarely miss at 100m now, and have a reasonably good try at hitting stationary vehicles at 300m or so (perhaps a success rate of 1 in 3 when I have the correct elevation on the shot.

I love the RPGs as they are now, they're very satisfying when you manage the long shot. And the time for minimum deviation adds some tactics to the role, rather than a simple point 'n' click.
