Forgotten map

I have lost track of a map. It is the first map I have aver played on. Not sure if it is retired, but I miss it. It is a large map. Armor, Jets, Helis,... lotsa trees hills. little lake in the middle. One of the flags was down in a pit, like a mining pit type area..

So, is it retired? Or has it just fallen out of rotation.

It's called quinling. And it's currently one of the worst maps in PR...

yup, thats it. Why is it one of the worst maps. The only other large scale, open area, armor whoring map is Kashan Desert. It's starting to get worn out. Hopefully I'll catch it again soon :)

People are tired of Quinling because they're tired of Kashan because they're tired of Quinling because they're tired of Kashan...

Need more 4km maps with actual assets.

And they're supposedly coming in .9! Huzzah!

Qinling just goes on for ages and nothing really happens(all the times I have played)

Qinling has nowhere for infantry to hide. Its the only map in PR that truely requires a team formation.

Tanks in front, APCs carrying infantry, and then the associated repair and Anti Air support.

to play it well you require more teamwork than other maps imo, I've only seen 3 servers manage really fun rounds on Qinling. TG is the best server for this.

Its very sad cause its the only map that the British get fixed wing aircraft such as the memorable Tornado. Its so fast you need to constantly circle the lake and you'll mostly be in at a 90 degree angle.

The weapons on that thing are some of the best support weapons in game, and seriously, that includes the laser guided bombs! However it would be much more accurate if there was an onboard stabilizer to assist with guiding the bombs then it would be deadly accurate.

One of my favorite maps actually. Had some of my best rounds in it. But that was back during 0.8

i personally think that the "map out" distance for airplanes should be increased for a .. well.. large amount ;)

It has potential, but needs rework...but there is the lag and fps problem again...

Just once I would enjoy to play Quiling and or Kashan with well coordinated teamwork ... or is that an impossible dream?

Qinling is one of the better maps to be honest, it's better than Kashan, cause that turns into one huge stalemate so often.

I had very good rounds on TG on Qinling, and it's a very fun experience.

Also, it's Qinling, not Quinling..
