May I borrow somebody's server for about an hour or two next sunday October 31st to make a short movie? If I can then please PM me. Please do not post in this thread.

You could just go for an empty server.

Didn't work for us. Some asshat came in and thought he'd be policeman and killed us all for making a movie on a teamplay server... He then left :d uh:

If you're not able to borrow a server a tip could be to use hamachi and host a local one. There is a few downsides with that, but it is however an alternative.

RT have servers free, I'd consider contacting them.

Get some actors and make the game look like everyone acually teamplays, and maybe more people will play it.

Until they find out how many "bf2 leet skills" pilots are on the servers...

I dunno, i've had trouble with hamachi. why don't you guys just use port forwarding instead of LAN games, and ventrilo or teamspeak instead of mumble?

how are you recording? Are you using battlerecorder? Can Battlerecorder be used in PR at all?

BR defintely works, expect when PB does an MD5 check after you have removed the name tags. It isnt fun and its very frustrating.

You should probably learn how to forward ports on your router/modem, and run the server on your own computer. Its much easier when you want to create sequences on your own. and Each BR files is shorter, meaning you dont have to wait through all of the BR file, like on a normal game, to make your movie.

I know you asked us not to post, but I am an Arshloch, I'm cool like that.

The way I want to do it is I get a collaborator kit and go record when I am unarmed.

well IMO the best way to make a movie is to do both, use as much as you can.
