on qinling yesterday i had a gunner in my tornado, he got bored and left
hinting. "are you any good at landing"

anyway after that i couldnt find another gunner. no one seems to want to drop bombs on people, i think its a rather fun job, just so happens i was flying yesterday.

anyway i managed to get a clan mate on who is an osum bomber.
but i was wondering how many people think its fun and how many think its boring
and also if anyone practices it and has gotten really good at it.
or if you always fly in pairs like me and my buddy

I found it really hard, and fustrating to miss bombs

Its only fun if you have good squad leaders on the ground lazing targets for you ,otherwise its a bit pointless.

We don't go on Qinling anymore because my computer hates it most of the time, but I used to co-pilot with Pedz in the Tornado. I found it interesting, but then again I was directing and ordering him about too. It's great when you say something and the pilot complies straight away.

Back seat driving the tornado is fun, I mean who doesn’t like dropping bomb's on people, are you sure it was not the case that every one was to scared to fly with you, i mean you did say that your gunner was expressing concerns about your piloting skills.

Its super boring,you are basically pilot's RMB/Secondary fire button+you cant even look back etc.

I like it if there is radio coms with ground units. and its one of the few positions I play music in while playing

I just yell, WHO CAN LAND A TOR HERE?

Somone on the mic says, I'm a pretty good pilot. lets make a squad...

And I sometimes end up with an awesome pilot while im gunning.

IT is epically awesome when you got a good pilot

it get boring after a while... and its hard as hell to get a fix on any targets due to the speed and when ever the jet banks your camera goes with it lol plus the black and white doesnt help. so yea id have to say it gets boring

I love riding instead of flying, and I love the job of gunning (though I usually don't due to lack of drivers up to my standards). I would also love riding in the back seat of the Tornado, but the permanently white sky combined with the white fog when out of view from the ground makes it disorienting and quite dull.

Interesting point

The whiteness though does make it bloody easy to spot any aircraft about.
