need 1.5 for .87, but I already have 1.5!

When I load up .87 a message comes up saying I need BF2 v1.5, but when I try to install v1.5, it says I already have a newer version!

Clean install ha. I've never heard of this before.

are you sure you didn't install a beta version of 1.5?

I also have this error message on patch 15. Can anyone recomend the best site for downloading the correct version. Thanks.

BF2 not updated to v 1.41 before patching with v1.5
FULL update 1.41

Some have posted Updating with the
1.41 update
Sometimes does not complete, but looks like it does.
To find your version of BF2
run PR in 'windowed' mode
Look at the upper left corner
you should see
v.1.5.3153-802.0
