I have been working on the landrover reskins for a few hours tonight. The landrover is a placeholder for the Pinzgauer until it is made. This will not be the NZDF's primary light transport. It may appear on some maps, but that is up to the mapper. So far i have made a start on the desert reskin. So here is a little glimpse





Please remember that these are still WIP. Some things still need work

Looks great. Can't wait for the Pinzgauer though.

I thought a new Landrover model was being made?
Or is that just only for the brits?

the new model isn't finished yet afaik, I'm sure the new model will be avaliable for the NZDF in due course.

edit, you got any nice references of the source inspiration?

Yes but they are personal photo's and i haven't uploaded them to my computer yet. They are from a film camera haha so still working it out

you can tell us that you made some nude pictures on the landrover but thats no reason to not upload them

yea i think i stuffed up somewhere with the wheels so im going to look into that haha

It has recently been decided that the landrover is now low priority as it will not be in any Afghanistan or Middle eastern maps. It is being phased out by the pinzgauer, but may still be featured on a few south pacific theatre maps.
