How to lightmap 6000 statics in 24h

Use the 3ds max Final render plugin from cebus. Play with the settings, and produce medium quality lightmaps at approx 1 per second

(remember most statics have 4 lightmaps per pass)

lets get some screens of that stuff then!
Rhino and I been working on getting an efficient max setup for both terrain and objets for some time..

Did you just do the sunlight and just have a flat sky light with maybe a few or no point lights or did you have a full GI light setup for your skylight etc? And like Taxi said, post up some ingame screenshots of the light.
btw, OFP2 can't be that good if your still working on your map

I did post up about the Final Render stuff ages ago but CRF said it was really buggy etc, somewhere in the dev mapping forums. Aint tried it.

You mean just me since your PC fails so much it can't even lightmap a single static without running out of memory?
