Re: How do I improve visibility?

I think resolution is the main contender for this followed by antialiasing?
Get a 22" + 8x AA and you will have a nice advantage.[R-CON]Outlawz wrote:Upgrade your PC, so you can run on high gfx settings, also invest in a widescreen monitor, it's easier to distinguish stuff and aim at higher resolutions.
right click on your desktop and change the aa from there.Tophatter94 wrote:I do not think I have to ability to put AA on x8. I currently have PR running on x2 AA. Whenever I try and switch my setting to anything about x2, it automatically returns to "AA: off," then gives me the message to restart the game in order for the changes to take effect. When I restart PR, it remains at "AA: off." This does not happen with AA x2, though. When I set AA to x2, its stays at x2.
EDIT/ADDITION: I currently run 1440x900. All video settings on medium EXCEPT textures. The dynamic light and shadows are "off," AA is at x2, and view distance is 90%.
so it's quite important in pr.Geometry:
The Geometry setting controls the Level of Detail (LOD) setting for various objects and landscape in the game. The options are Low, Medium and High and for most intents and purposes there is virtually no difference between the three levels. At higher levels certain objects will appear more detailed, such as rounder boulders and more curved landscape (i.e. more polygons visible). More importantly, at the higher levels vehicles will come into view sooner when far away, as more of their details are shown earlier. Obviously performance is better at the lowest level, but the extent of it depends on your system. For the reason that it may help you detect vehicles sooner, you should keep this at High unless your system is really struggling.
