Would it be at all possible to throw grenades back at the enemy, like in COD2? Maybe you could pick it up using "G"(for most people), and throw it using the zoom key? I can think of sooomany times where, when I was playing the sniper class and someone tossed a grenade at me and if I were to toss it back, I would have caught them completely off-guard.

Would you even have time to throw it back? I had frags landing right in my screen once and it blew pretty quickly, just stayed enough time for me to bake a cake in my pants but that was it.

this topic just reminded me of a game (cant rember what it was) but it had gard dogs as well, and when you chucked a nade at a gard dog, it would pick it up in its mouth and play fetch with you running as fast as it can back towards you to give your nade back to you which was ticking away

also in the game the enemy would kick nades back at you. But it was nothing like as funny watching this dog running towards you with a nade in its mouth

this would probaly be impossibal with the BF2 engine. EA had alot of trobal trying to get enginners, spec opps and snipers the abblity to pick up there C4, mines and claymores but they ran into afew show stoppers so it wasnt included in one of the patches.

I think i remember a game like that rhino, was a world war 2 game i think, one of the Medal Of honours or something.

It was the First Medal Of Honour for PS1

All Medal of Honors kick em back. It was MOH1 on PS1 that had the German Shepards that picked em up and played fetch, they also bit you and fell of high things.

Yeah, I recall playing Medal of Honour Allied Assault for the PC and having that happen. It's a nice feature, but like Doc says it's never advised to be the action hero with a grenade, you're supposed to get the hell outta it's way.

it would be handy cause if you in a spot where you can't move you could just huck it back.
