since the Vodnik and Nanjing were Retired will MEC and PLA get any kind of armored Inf. transport vehicle? I know that they have that little jeep that can pack 3 people in the back seat but it cant counter the Humvee?

Ah... i too miss the mighty vodniks on the kashan desert raining hell over the infantry

BRDM can transport 2 and beats a humvee 1v1 and has zoom and periscope with IR vision XD

I would have thought these + BRDMs would be asymmetrically balance with humvees and trans humvees.

I....haz totaly forgotten bout BRDMs... but BRDMs are Scouts not trans., and how about PLA?

I thought the BRDM's can only transport 2 guys expect for the driver+gunner?

the MG version can transport a few more (but i dont really veiw it as a troop trans. and its never used as trans on any pub games)what we need is GAZ pwr!

BRDM is hardly a light inf trans.

ingame AA version can fit 1 passenger and BRDM-2 2 passengers

best thing i could think is to find some sorta 80's russian armored car for the MEC and for china i think they have some sorta armoured car... can't remember it though.

BRDM is a scout car indeed.

As for the Vodnik, from what I heard from Nosferatu lately, it doesn't seem like it'll come back.

PLA uses the VN3 as an equivalent to the HMMVVE. Use the search function with VN3, you'll see. However, since it was modeled and all, there have been no news at all about it. I still hope it'll be implemented for PLA.

vodnik is a classic for sure

Currenty in-game the PLA have the FAV which carries 3 people(driver, gunner, and secondary gunner) and UAZ which I believe has 6 seats(It's the jeep looking think)

irl we managed to put 10 or 11 people inside it, though i had to lie in trunk(behind back seat)

there was hilarious pic of ~10 armed guys in cabrio version of it, but i cant find it

then why not give that to MEC? looks like a ligit Anti-humvee vehicle

would have been fantastic to have the vn3 ingame, much preferable to teh 20mm APC since teh Strkyer can take it on.
