as we know the battlefield radio is lagged by up to 5 seconds at times so an "open fire" order can lead to the enemy being fired upon too late, and not every one uses mumble.
how about in the centre where it's "enemy spotted" we have an alt call for "open fire" for SL's and "firing now" for the SM's

Not that this is a bad idea, but I have never once had the need to tell my squad to open fire on mass. Plus as a squad leader I'd rather have my squad members be able to say they see something so I can make a decision on how to engage, and myself be able to send that up to command. Rather than being able to tell them to fire and them being able to tell me they are firing. Plus there really is no need for squad members to inform the squad lead that they are firing, that would be a tad bit evident because their weapons would be going off.

I would like that, especially because I sometimes play with people with no VOIP which are great teamplayers, ex. privetdoodles . Therefore the commo rose is a much faster way to say something than typing it in. Better than "roger" or "wilco".
I've never had a single lag related radio...

I like this. But if there gonna edit the commo rose to add this they need to add "breaching"/"clear room" for a better tactical feel when clearing rooms.

1st its pretty useless, you have voip for such chatter
2nd you still have attack marker
3rd any change in commo-rose requires new voices for all factions, this kinda kills almost any changes in commo-rose
