Many of us are in classes, work, or somewhere else where we can be on an internet browser but not PR.

There almost always are people on this time of day. You'll just be stuck with european servers. (it being evening in europe now)

The BF2 1.3 patch basically halved the population of all BF2 mods. When that population is already small (because of the ranked server business model and toher factors) it's really noticeable.
I hope that we can get back to pre 1.3 population figures over time, through people getting bored with vBF2 and through more releases of the mod.
It's unavoidable that mods like PoE and FH2 will affect the mod player base, but I tend to look at the upside of that .. they will, without a doubt, increase the size of the players playing BF2 mods .. and that will be good for all mods and mod teams.
Project Reality is what it is and will have an appeal to certain players, but I think we're doing pretty well for a first time mod team .. it's just that BF2 is not that friendly a modding platform and environment and so the avaialble player population is really low.

EA/DICE knew that mod teams were going to take their candies away, so they never considered helping the modding community out...
They did make a small statement regarding mod teams....but I rather see that fulfilled before I give EA any credibility back...

How about the community starts making Trailers for PRMM?
Check this out first:
http://www.verzend.be/v/9878548/Old_Sch ... n.wmv.html
A short video made by the Aces High 2 community.
This was told to make every one who sees it to get into the cockpit of AH2.
Check out another trailers, a more professional one:
http://www.acecombat.jp/
Ace Combat 5: the Unsung Wars Trailer
Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War Trailer
I'd bet most ppl would like to play these games after watching the trailers. (though their flight models are arcady)
----------------
So, I think having some more traillers for PRMM might bring more players into this community.

Its not just us, all mods need more exposure. Right now, between the top 7 mods, there are only about 100 players online.

That's EA's/Dice's/whoever's plan. Keep releasing a steady stream of bullshit "booster packs" to keep the weak-willed ones playing the vanilla game and not "wasting" time with the mods...

Dice Vader leads his Imperail patch-troopers from the mod-destroyer EA to destroy the rebel alliance on the planet Mod.
The weak-willed shall fall into the dark side.....

instead of recruiting devs for models, coding, websites, music and so on you need to recruit a marketing DEV... some one who has done this before not going to school for it... If your going to school and think you would qualify... take a moment and ask your professor or teacher if he or she has owned there own business.... 99% would say no......
