Hi there.
I installed BF2+SF+AF+EF yesterday and PR today.
BF2 Version is 1.5 (Yes, i've installed 1.4 before updating on 1.5)

Single Player is working without any problems, but if I want to join a Multiplayer Server (e.g. a training server) i can see that BF2 is loading the first houses and so on, but I do not get a chance to choose a class, squad, etc....
I get a CTD, BF2 is still shown in the taskbar, but it doesn't react on clicking.
If I start the task-manager, the taskbar-icon is gone.

P.S.: Sry for my bad english, german player, you know?^^

Win7 Home Premium 64bit
2x NVidia Geforce 8800GT (SLI)
AMD Athlon X2 6000+ (Dual-Core)
4*1GB DDR2 RAM

There are lots of solutions on this website to fix CTD use the search bar above^ and u will find many.
also lower texture settings and are you using PR.exe and not BF.exe?

I've already used the search, but nothing helped.
I tried also lower texture settings (medium and low) and yes, I use the PR.exe^^

Hmm ok m8 erm have you updated most of your drivers? even though win 7 automaticaly finds drivers you might need to update.

All of my drivers are up-to-date....

Not a clue then sorry, Im not a comp expert so wait for others to reply I suppose. If you have checked everything on this forum using the search bar, I cant see ur problem being fixed sadly.

You should have two folders in your 'mod' folder, PR and SPPR.
If you don't then download .87 core and levels or uninstall then reinstall
Making sure each installs into their default (separate) folders.

The Single Player element of the Project Reality mod (known as PRSP) is not incorporated within the mod's multiplayer files. Project Reality is primarily a multiplayer game, singleplayer is an addon that you have to download and install separately.

Both have got their own folders

I uninstalled and re-installed it, but MP still won't work....

When you said, You installed PR can I ask what exactly? in order would be good?

Ok, if i'm running the mod with +fullscreen 0 it works, but it looks just like.... sh**^^

Yes, it works, but most of the textures are away, and the buttons are moved a few cm down.....

are u playing at the right rez?

In your PR shortcut's 'target' window you can set/force the resolution the game runs in:
Change fullscreen 0 to
+fullscreen 1 +szx 1024 +szy 680
Or for widescreen:
Widescreen:
+widescreen 1 +szx 1600 +szy 1200

Change the #s to what works for your setup
(recommend setting the same as your desktop)

The problem is, that fullscreen 0 is running in Multiplayer, but it looks like ****.
Fullscreen 1 causes a CTD if I join a server (After Client verification)

I tried +fullscreen and +widescreen but nothing works

I'm using the 1680x1050 res.

ef and af are included in 1.5 just so you know

K, I thought, that 1.5 wouldn't include all the extras of AF+EF.

If I'm playing in window mode with 1280x1024 it works and i can see all of the textures, but the window is so small, i can't see very much details which are more than 100m away...
