Blue screen/Fixed!

Hi all
This issue occoured to me first time yesterday. I downloaded and installed Bf 1.5 and pr 0.874 and everything went fine. One time the computer suddenly crashed and I got the blue screen first time and then it restarted. I thought that it wasn't anything serious and kept on playing.
It didn't happen again until in the evening I got it again and then it started to happen every time I join a server. It lets me in the game, but in the screen where you choose weapon and spawn place it always crashes and the blue screen shows up for about a second and then restarts.
So what could I do with this?
Specs:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+
2GB DDR II RAM
Ati radeon 2500 HD pro up to 1279MB
400GB HDD
Windows vista
computer: Acer aspire M5100

I'm wondering at what settings you are playing. with your system you should have textures at medium at most. low for the smoothest experience.
PR requires 4gb of RAM to function properly on vista. you can do it with 2GB but as i said earlier you have to set your textures low (medium depending on your processor and graphicscard)
Normally your game just crashes if it can't handle the game, but some systems tend to go in to a memory dump (Bluescreen).

If this does not solve the problem my question is:
Does your pc crash when you have it turned on and are just running Vista?
If so:
Is this a new system? or did your recently put in new RAM?
If so:
You should consult with your dealer to replace your RAM. I've had this problem where i had a defect RAM module in my system. My PC kept crashing and crashing. everytime a bit sooner.

I'll try to set the setting to lowest (they are medium atm.) and it has never crashed when I've just ran vista. System or ram isn't new, so if this doesn't help maybe i'll have to consider replacing the ram. It's just weird because on the previous PR patches I got the regular crash to desktop and now at the beginning with the new patch I could play normally until this started...
