I would love to be able to install PR v0.87, but i cannot find 0.86 to download. The only places i can find downloads are on dodgy sites, nothing official at all. So if anyone can give me a site that PR has allowed to put there 0.86 file up for download then i would much appretiate direction.

The problem now is when i try and install it is displays a warning message saying i need 0.87 installed in order to complete the installation of 0.874 core, any ideas?

Download & Install PR 0.87 Core
Download & Install PR 0.87 Levels

Because i cant find a plain 0.87 download that isnt 0.874, which is what im trying to install which requires 0.87. Any links to a 0.87 download that ISNT 0.874

Installation timeline

1. Install BF2
-----------------
BF2:SF Expansion | --- If you have BF2:SF, here is where it should be installed.
----------------
2. Install Battlefield 2 v1.41
3. Install Battlefield 2 v1.5
4. Install the latest PR Build (Currently: v0.874)

2b. Download the TWO seperate Project Reality v0.874 Client Installers from your preferred URL/torrent from the realitymod.com Downloads Page
The two installers are listed as CORE and LEVELS.

Get them
Install them
GET SOME!

How do i get the PR 0.874 "build"? If thats the core file and the levels files then thats the whole problem, becuase i cannot install them because it requests PR 0.87 which i cannot find.

Surely someone can help me out there, even with a simple explanation of what the build is.

Actualy i will rephrase it;

The version i currently have is PR 0.856
The levels requires me to install the 0.87core
The 0.87 core requires me to install PR 0.87 (the patch im guessing)
The patch requires me to install 0.86
I cannot use ANY other method to install 0.87 without using 0.86
I cannot find a genuine or official 0.86 download
If i can find 0.86 i could install the patcher, in turn installing the core and levels

You should just uninstall any previously installed versions of PR.
This can easily be done via the Windows Control Panel
'Add and Remove Programs' icon, under "Project Reality 0.x".*,
then delete the PR folder to remove any leftover files.
Don't forget to delete the desktop short as well.
PRv.87 uses 2 installers. You must install both 'core' and 'levels'.
It is recommended that you restart your system after you install/uninstall programs
to ensure all installed components, files and registry entries are correctly installed or removed.

Update to v 1.41 before patching with v1.5
FULL update 1.41
Final v1.5[/COLOR]
Download Core & Levels v0.874 and install each.

The download page has the downloads in this order:

From top to bottom:

If you have PR v0.860 already installed

Client patch (v0.874) = Requires BF2 v1.5 & PR v0.86 Core/Levels be installed first

Theres still problems:

This is what comes up when i try to install PR v0.874

I have done all steps youv suggested, including reinstalling, and updating BF2 (which i realised was more recent version of BF2 than required. Any ideas?

Infact now i cannot run the gme atall because i have no versions at all installed, and as the picture above displays i cannot install the latest. Is there a version called 0.87 which is seperate to 0.874?

You've gotten your installers mixed up.
Your screen shot shows your trying to install the PR SINGLE player( SP core setup) before you have PR v 0.0874 installed.

Run:
pr_0874_core_setup
then:
pr_0874_levels_setup

The PR SINGLE player installers are:
pr_sp_087_core_setup
pr_sp_087_levels_setup

Omg, iv been so stupid... haha! If id had realised that id probably had no problem. Ok, ill get back to you once iv tried the main core. Thanks very much though mate.
