Don't know if this has been brought up but has anyone else noticed that OPK has a pick-up kit (pilot) in their mod ?
It's a helmet lying near the heli's at base , pushing "G" gives you a pilot kit.
I believe it's an MP 5 + chute , have to check.

yes pickup kits are possibal, but they have some major show stoppes like when you pick up the kit, you loose your little icon on the map. Try it next time in OPK and you will notice that before you picked up the kit, you had a little infantry dot, and after you have no dot.

Yeah losing your icon on the map seems like a major issue to me.

So.. is that the biggest problem? Cuz really, I never look at myself on the minimap so.. uh.. yeah.. who cares if the dot is gone..

As long as the little "view cone" is still there, then it shouldn't be a problem.

Think about someone else doing it ... and getting into a plane.

And you get into a plane ...

And you both run out of ammo.

you are not looking at the bigger picture, you would not be able to get spotted ither. There are also afew other probs but i think thats the biggest prob yes.

a better question is are there any possible bug fixes?

maybe. we're 'sperimenting with pickup kits and other kit stuff atm.

I really dislike this pickup kit method I think there are better ways to balance these kits that will keep every idiot from using sniper. I have an idea for this but it takes long time to explain just read the thread I started.
