Directx june update. Downloads guy's.

that's rather large for once, might as well try it and see, after making a systems restore point of course!

I am a total noob at computers and stuff... So my question: what is the point of updating DirectX?

Updating Directx it's to correct bug with games and to run much faster your games. Around each month we have update now , but don't fear if you don't have installed other update they all include in this one . And will install just what your system need for other allready put other update.

Just extract with browse buttom to C:\TEMP. Create a new file name it TEMP on C:\ extract there go in your new TEMP File and double click on DXSETUP.exe that all

Edit: more FPS for my on 50 people PRMM server.

haven't noticed anything different to be honest. it works, no crashes or anything

i concoure with MrD but not played any games or used the BF2editor or anything with it yet...

err when i ran it it asked me to put in a path so i sent it to my nvideia directory was this right??

Don't think it matters. As long as you can find the EXE file afterwards.

Civ 4 runs faster, but haven't tested anything else yet.
