never seen that, might be a graphics glitch on your end, i have noticed that due to graphics setting/ pings/ ect/ somthings show up wrong or not at all for people.

I was in the A-10 while my friend was in the F-16, getting ready to take off, and he shouted into the mic, your wheels are gone your wheels are gone!
May have to do with LODs, which may have malfunctioned. You can also blame the fact that these are BF2 models.

yeah same thing used to happen on the MEC APC , yeah they sorta looked like hovercraft.
dunno about these jets
