the .exe of the 1.50 bf 2 patch won't start

i just get a box to lend promision to run it and then it stops doing what it has to do, i've tried multiple dwnld links, compatibilities. i allready tried 'run as admin'

the 1.41 patch worked fine and it did work when i still used vista

plz help cuz i rly wanna play

i downloaded the 1.41 at bf site (the same 1 i used on my vista) so it should work

i downloaded it from i3D (like on my vista) didn't work


Edit: i can not play bf2

Make sure you patched BF2 to 1.41 FIRST, then patch it up to 1.5

Run the exe's as admin as well

1) i'm not (too) stupid
2) i allready ran everything as an admin

jeez I didnt say you were stupid, I was offering my help from what I had to do, calm down.....

Try resarting between all the installs/patches. Worked for me on Vista

trying to redownload and reinstall patch 1.41
maybe that will help

update: just 5h left of downloading (past the download limit for this month)

update: it got timed out or something, what dod i do now????

leave it, bf2 isn't ready for win7. i'm installing xp, to much problems with win7 and vista. thanks for the help

I had issues too (Vista) with the 1.5 patch.
What happened with me was that it'd take a ridiculously long time to open after I clicked the patch setup. Like really long, and it'd slow down my computer in the process. How long have you waited between clicking the icon and giving up?
