On the forums there seems to be a Norweigan faction planned, alltough I think it can be much more then you think.

Have you considered the fact of the defense treaty in place between the scandinavian nations, Norway, Sweden and Denmark are in it. I think that Finland is as well, but I'm not sure. Anyways, if an invation were to break out in Scandinavia, they would all be involved. (At least on paper, who knows right?) That's four nations, meaning some more firepower and versatility of the faction

Imagine the Archer artillery, with the Thor (apc/aa'ish right?) Leopard 2's, CV90's, JAS Gripens, F-35's, F16's, so on so forth, and a whole bunch of very well equipped infantry =D

And on the opposing side, Russia, with all their might. (Just an example)

It would also open up options for maps like the island of Gotland, the norweigan west coast, the strait in between Denmark and southern Sweden, the snowcovered forests in the north, and if we go further up: rocky, mountain landscapes...

And oh yeah, allmost forgot; Muskö military base.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with it; it's the largest underground military facility in the world, built during the cold war or something.
Also known as the underground city.

It's still active, but not nearly as active as in "the old days"
But if invasion was to break out, I doubt it would be ignored, since it was placed where it is for the strategic advantage that still would be important in a up to date war scenario.

PS: This of course is only valid in case of invasion maps/scenarios of Scandinavia+Denmark

I'd direct any ideas or suggestions you may have that are specifically to do with one of the community factions in their appropriate forum, in this case the Norwegian Forces section.

There is a reason for the 25 post limit, and it is to avoid new members posting suggestion in other forum areas or for bringing up points that have already been discussed. Please take some time to look around the forum a bit more, get a handle on what has been talked about and you will be able to make a far more telling contribution.

Good to see the enthusiasm though, im sure if the Norwegian Forces are in need of extra ideas then you can help out. The big thing that is needed are contributors, so coders/texture artists/graphical artists/modellers/mappers etc. Generally the advise is that if you want particularly in PR, then make it yourself.
