How much activity in the mod?

Hi. Me and a couple of friends wanted to play PR again after a long time AWOL. How much activity are there? We are based in Norway and as such depending upon european server to connect to. Are the still so many player that we can easily find a game and players on european servers?
Any experience with BF2 Comlpete Edition ffrom Steam and PR?
Looking forward to playing if there is still people left........

Yep, there's always a decent server to join
. I don't know about Bf2 + PR on Steam though, i've read there might be some complications...

me and a few other friends waited 20 mins on auto deploy to join the UKWF server the other day.....you be the judge

I see alot of people on atm, and the quality of the players is actually alot better than 6months ago imo.

Welcome back! I'm sure you'll find the mod has progressed much lately and there's plenty of players nowadays for each server.
Last time i checked the closest servers to you would be Skyttegrav in Sweden and Pelitutka in Finland.

Just so you know - I don't have any personal experience, but I have heard of issues with the Steam version.

Welcome back indeed, Skyttegrav PR servers #1 and #4 are located in Gothenburg so that'd be pretty close to you for good pings.

I'm from Norway. There should be no reason to depend on european servers. US server start to populate about the same time as european ones, and transatlantic ping is not a problem at all in PR.
Actually default BF2-hitboxes registers best with a ping of 100, a US server will give you ~110-120.
