Joining up - Is this Goodbye?

Basicly, I have joined the British Army as an officer and start training in January, so I had a look through the foums to see if any officers play the game I have loved throughout Uni, and noticed a pattern; everyone who posted an intention to join as an officer seems to have vanished in activity.
Are there any Officers still with the time to play or can I expect that this will be the last I see of the game?

There is a lot of active soldiers playing this mod so I'm sure you will be able to find time to play.

Its just while your in training you will have no time what so ever mate, after that im sure there will be time to pop on the forums and have a round or 2 of PR.
In the mean time good luck with training, have fun

Your going to be busy at first of course, going through all of your training. If the British military life is anything like the American military life then you are going to be playing a lot less than you used to because you gonna spend every free second you have having fun with friends and going home. Dont worry though you will find a way to come back to your drug

I'm an American Officer, I find time to play. It all depends on the nature of your job. Best of luck, keep your head down.

I'm planning on ending up in the Rifles after Uni

Be proud of your service, mate. Its times like this where you need to put the game behind ya for a little bit. Even if its not about the game, its more about the community, right? You've made friends here, and its sad that you gotta leave for a little bit.
Noone likes to admit it, but being in the service is time consuming, but you will have plenty of time to get some good gaming in. I know a guy who is an Officer in the British Army, and he helps run a community. Never the less, be safe, and remember one thing... Keeping your head up is good for two reasons. One, you stay positive and that helps you and the team, and two... If you keep your head up, you'll actually see the bullets comin' towards ya!

I see a problem here - if you can see the bullets they can hit you!
Better to keep your head down behind the sandbags, assessing the situation and getting your men to lay down some fire so it's safe for you to keep your head up.

Touche good sir, touche! But I hate blindfiring unless I have a SAW on me. That is, in PR of course. Everytime I try to blindfire the enemy tends to flank me too quickly.

There's always time for some PR ^^,
But in all seriousness, there will be time for it later on, don't worry.
And stay safe

I hope you have the best of luck when you deploy. Stay out of trouble and come back to play some PR. But of course when you're not commanding your insubordinates, you can play PR in the barracks (is the internet in your barracks good enough?).
