Some Ideas...

I got Few Ideas ..to make this game more teamwork /realistic and maby make it easier for medics...
1) When your hit /wounded , you drop on floor and get in some animation simular to Company of Heroes (when wounded ofc) and then medic dosent need to ask you "are you dead or wounded " It will alsow give enemies a pleasuer of Excuting you in the head from close hehe...
And it would be more funnier to play. And yes make you killable while "wounded" .
2) To make first suggestion work you would maby have to make players able to lift you up on the shoulder and carrie you to safty . Like grab you and pull you , this was presented in some game but i cant remeber .... So the teamwork would be more needed then ussualy ...
