Server License Query

I was reading the server license requirements and came across this one
Must have an online server that is actively hosting a Battlefield 2 game server.
I was just wondering, does this mean you have to have a BF2 server up AND a PR server up at the same time constantly? If so, why is this?
Thanks in advance.

It means a Battlefield 2 Server on which you apply PR after you have received the license.

In effect, one server. :)

Ok, i may be being stupid but jsut bear with me :P On Alph-Networks I can see a Game Server provider for BF2, and one for PR. Just wondering why there are separate ones. As the PR one asks for
Host Name:
RCON Password:
Does this mean you pay for a BF2 one, then get the go ahead for a PR server then convert over to a PR one? Im so confused

OK... I think i understand this now. Do you have to buy a PR server off of Alpha-Networks, THEN apply?
But even then it says you need an active BF2 server... hummmmm

No you just buy a server from Alpha Networks and you will receive a server with PR already installed and ready to go.

This is exactly what i initially thought, but it says the server needs to be active. This implies that the server needs to be up and running on the BF2 server list. Am i not correct?

If you buy from Alpha Networks you do not need to apply for a server license.

In order to buy a "PR" server from them, you have to agree to the current server license. It's wrapped together in the buying process.

I didn't say that you didn't have to agree to the license, I said that you did not need to apply for one.
