Destroying your own firebases

I wanted to make double sure but I did this today during a game.
Created Logi squad to build FOBs with just a few members. The members helped me build FOBs and all was well and good. Then we took out the cache our FOB was deployed next to I checked the tickets, 212. Then I went over and knifed the radio myself. 212 after. We then threw and incidiary on the FOB destroyed it and left. Built another FOB at the next cache. Rinse and repeat.
I wanted to be double sure there is no ticket penalty for doing this? If so I think this is a great strategy for insurgency mode.

As far as I know, you don't lose tickets when you do that. But I think US loses -10(?) Intelligence Points for that. Though I'm not sure does it apply when you destroy your own FOB. It should be like that atleast when you do that as an Insurgent.
No access to Manual atm so can't confirm

Doesn't live FOBs count as team asset? If not its very ridiculous. How come the even smallest bottom point transports cause Team Vehicle damage and punishment and FOBs not?
P.S: What about destroying other friendly RPs? Is it even possible?

Cos sometimes you need to destroy an FOB to build it in another location.

That would be the whole point of this. Destroying a FOB in a location you no longer need and move your resources and the FOB to a new location next to a place you do need. You can't just leave a FOB unguarded as I believe you lose tickets when an insurgent takes it down?

No... there's no ticket loss when FOBs are destroyed, nor when deployed, nor when rallies are deployed or destroyed.
Feel free to build them up and kill them a billion times, you'll be alright (unless the devs slipped something in since they removed that stuff in 0.6?).

FOBs themselves don't cost. But the FOB Asserts do. IE: The wire and .50s and the stingers, foxholes and so on. They all cost 2 tickets if destroyed. Well they did the last time I checked up about it.

That's a bit ridiculous.
It's be nice to see FOBs cost a lot of tickets. They should be focal points for assaults and defences, and thus be weighted in tickets to reflect this.

Oh, christ, really? I nuke them all the time and reposition them to make it just so. If they're worth tickets.. o_o

Where'd you "check up" about it? I just reread the 0.87 manual, and the 0.809 manual for good measure, and the only reference to lost tickets is with vehicles.
If you could point me to
anything remotely official that says destroying razor wire or HMGs costs tickets, I'd be very interested.

Maybe a video of you watching the ticket count while razor wire is destroyed?
(I don't mean to be a smart-alec but I feel quite confident you're wrong, which is why I'm asking for something definitive)
