Added vehicles to the faction plan.

Myself (bmf-cetniksoldier) and my friend (bmf-crnikurac) are putting together a team to create a new community faction. The Serbian Armed Forces. This would be a great addition to the OPFOR teams and we are looking for people to join the team. Any experience would benifit as I have some 3d modeling experiance and mapping experiance from other games not BF2. Crnikurac has some modeling experiance to. We are very interested in starting this faction so if you can help us please join the team!!! Well ive been following the guidelines and first thing is to put a team together so here we go!

good that you are going through the right way!

but personally i think Serbian is a bad choise because OPK already has this faction and it would suck to take it from them/requestiong content from them/recreating content.

it would be ways better if you look around the community mod forums and try to get help one of those factions

There's already a Yugoslav wars project going on somewhere...

I know OPK has a serbian faction but the models they use are OK. I would like to do serbian because im serbian LOL (so is crnikurac) . Yeah , also serbia has interesting weapons, including the m84 tank, a new apc called the Lazar class apc. Yeah, i was talking to the guy about making the yugoslav wars but that fell thru. I know we can have some really good maps because of the terrain over there. We could have urban, woodland, and farmland type maps. We can also do conventional army. (Serbian VS US) or (Serbia Vs Germany) or we can do Serbia Vs Terrorist (KLA , Albanian terrorist) ETC... Check out videos of serbian army in youtube to scope out the equipment. Plus the vocals would be great because they require some cursing in serbian (LOL JK).

would be a logical addition as it would give blufor nations like the US and UK maps in balkan woodland environments

Good choice! The Russians need more friends. They look so alone, having to face NATO in Europe all by themselves. I'm guessing that the Serbs will be more than happy to help their Russian Brothers?

Im sure the serbs would help the russians if it came down to it and vice versa. IRL the Russians currenty are helping serbia in the hague "political" court to defended against the illegal succession and the independence of Kosovo. Land that serbia should have full right to. Anyway, i will work on the faction plan. I guess my next step is listing infantry and selecting appropriate kits, selecting appropriate armor and air power. Then we will work on the modeling.

Keep going, making a faction is a loooooong process and you really need a dedicated team if you want to bring it to the end.
It would also add a blufor for French Forces, dunno why...

Dont take it the wrong way!

not trying to make it an political forum either.. thats why i changed topic (dont just quote the political part lol) . was just stating the in real life russia and serbia have some sort of connections. Yes I know making a faction is a long process and have been studying it and know it will take a while to complete this. But im ready to try and give it my best with what time I have to put into it. Any advice anyone can give me would be appreciated. I KNOW i have to recruit more people to help with this faction. I have a few people in mind havent spoke to them yet. But like i said between me and crnikurac working on this we starting to select weaponry etc. I know they have to follow the basic PR guidelines on how the kits are laid out.

I know i dont have that many post but that doesnt meen im not into PR. ive been playing for years now and im sure ive played on many servers with you guys. Im serious about creating this faction and really appreciate any input..

Don't worry about that, [R-COM]Redfox was not so known before he proposed the idea of Czech Forces and see where his faction is today.

I used to think the idea of a serbian faction was a little unrealistic since serbia is no longer lead by milosevic, however I think I could easily look past it.

for example, maybe after kosovo declared independence the serbian government lauches a war against the nato peacekeepers to drive them out of kosovo so they can reclaim it. something like that.

The US, UK, french, germany, dutch, norwegian factions are all realistic blufors against the serbians as they are all on peacekeeping duty in kosovo.

But the problem is, I cannot see your true intentions and what is motivation behind your work, given the nature of your nicks (both seem like either very childish or very problematic).

Though, if you can prove me that you're not anything I think you are, I'd be glad to take into thinking to help you chaps.

About M-87 - MRLS no needet in PR!!!
If they needet in PR,R-DEVs will be use USI models M-270 MRLS(NATO) and GRAD(MEC and Russia)!!!

As much as this seems to be what I wanted im afraid im gonna back up Drug on this one. I cant and wont cooperate with someone who's name give the impression of something totally unapropriate

LMAO, that is funny coming from you.

I'm not saying my name is mature but i don't go around calling other people childish because of theirs. You are very lucky you've not been banned from these forums so don't start talking down to other forum users.
