I like the game but for some reason my mic isn't working inside of bf2

Regarding VOIP, yeah. Tried both my sound cards, it works fine in windows.. not bf2.. Running Windows 7 Ultimate. It seems to be hit or miss if it works on w7/vista from what im reading. I've tried a few things without avail. I need to troubleshoot it more or something. It stinks though that I cant talk :(

Nope running the Fata1ity headset. standard analog ****

Its def software in BF2 though. I am running the steam version as well.. (Thats what you get for losing the cds long ago)..

But bf2 will NOT recognize any sound coming out. Pretty crappy hah

Hmm, weird stuff. I'll move our posts regarding that into a new thread in the Tech. support section, maybe someone got an idea over there.

Reading that you have the Steam version, did you check your sound settings for Steam?

I wasn't able to talk in Left 4 Dead until I changed my Steam Sound Settings to the right sound input.
