Project Reality Forums

Has anyone ever noticed that people call Project Reality a GAME & not a MOD. I always refered to it as a full on game. I guess that just show how great Project Reality really is.

I think it's because PR is so much more than just a mod

The only thing thats the same as VBF2 (i think) is the MEC, Squad & Commander system, and the engine.

MEC are also mostly a total conversion the soldiers skins and equipment.

I sometimes say Project Reality is a game that runs on the Refractor 2 engine .

Dang, that sounds so much better than what I normally say.

"Project reality is a mod based on this game BF2 that was made by EA but really kinda sucked, so a ton of guys got together and have been working on making it better"

ha, thats because it is magically both. Sure its a mod, but then again its completly different then BF2. Once PR2 comes though we will all be over this whole mod/game thing

Yeah i call it a game too, told my mate to get it but forgot to mention it needed battlefield 2,

When compared with BF2 it is much more than a mod so it deserves to be called a game. Although truely it is a mod... hmmm. I guess it's Mod on the way of being Game. Though I'm not sure if it is something possible or something good! :/

I always call it a piece of badassery.
