I could have post this on vehicles feedback section, but due to magnitude of WTF included here, I decided to post this here on bugs section.

Basically, if you put BTR against skilled SAW gunner, BTR is history and the SAW gunner walks away with plenty of ammo left:

Somebody needs to redo the materials.

and its not the only such spot, there are more
on the other hand in game it can take lots of 12.7 into its hull, while irl it will shred it like butter

That was wtf indeed. Does this mean a squad of riflemen can take one out pretty easy as well? Is it only on the front of the front wheels that this happens or do you get a similar result if you shoot the side of the wheels?

I remember trying to destroy the chinese apc with my SAW. I must have shot two mags in the wheels but nothing happened. So this "bug" is not on all vehicles.

if BTR is stationary and wont drive away, one rifleman, not even a squad can wipe out it
bug described in this thread applies to all wheels, shovel is bugged, exhaust pipe on its back is bugged too, and if you shoot glasses with .50 it takes ~20 rounds to kill it

the centre of wheel seems to have another material, but the whole rubber part has same

it's a funny bug but i guess getting killed by a saw can be easily avoided

Its definately easy to kill a BTR.. way too easy if you shoot its tires. Maps like Muttrah and jabal are quite useless to use BTR's =\

aprox 10-12 AP shots in the tires and its down.
