What is everyones though on having Ranger drops from helo's? you know the ropes that drop and troops and slide down them in tight spots.. rather then landing the bird? i could find it on suggestions... just wondering everyones thoughts

You are suggesting fastropes, which is a resuggestion and not possible on the BF2 engine. Please search and post in the correct forum next time. The correct forum would be the suggestions forum. You need at least 25 posts to use that forum, so search around a bit, learn the forums and what has and has not been suggested before making new topics.

The suggestion of fastropes is in fact a joke subject around here, because it has been mentioned so many times.

Fastropes, time to bring it up again...

Perhaps we could use the grapple hook but have it drop from the helo when the copilot presses a button... and the troops could exit pressing "E" and then they would get on the grapple?

Idk i was thinking a passenger can drop his grapple from the BH and all the other passengers can use it, but it would be impossible to keep the BH perfectly still so the hook doesnt fall off of it.

Anything is possible, just find a way.
