Okay, So I just downloaded PR today, installed the core, installed the levels, all that good stuff. The game boots up and everything okay, but when I load a map it loads all the way up to about 70-73 percents, and it crashes every time. I've run the game as admin, set the graphic options to low, ( I have 3GB DDR2 RAM , Nvidia GEFORCE 8600, and 3GHZ Duel Core Processor, with Windows Vista Home Premium) run the game under XP capatibility or whatever it's called, and tried restarted my computer. Can anyone help me?

Try to run BF2/PR in windowed mode. Go to the target for the PR shortcut, (right click shortcut, click Properties, then click in the target box), and change the entire target to this:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" +fullscreen 0 +szx 1024 +szy 768

Now try starting the game.

If it still doesn't work, go rename the "Battlefield 2" folder @ My Documents and try again.

Also, did you install the latest drivers from here for your videocard?: Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

Try installing the latest DirectX: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Did you patch BF2 to 1.41, then to 1.5? You must do that.

What type of monitor do you have? What is its dimensions and aspect ratio? What is its refresh rate? Sometimes problems occur like this because the refresh rate is set incorrectly.

Go to My Documents\Battlefield 2\profiles\Default and open Video.con. See what the line

VideoSettings.setResolution

is set to, and change it to whatever your desktop is running at. You can check this by

Right click on desktop -> Screen resolution -> Advanced settings -> Monitor tab -> screen refresh rate

For instance, if your res+refresh was 1280x1024 at 75hz, then you would set the above line to the following:

VideoSettings.setResolution 1280x1024@75Hz

Then remove the flags from the PR icon's target and try starting the game.

but the problem just happen in other map not all map in SP why...?

can U halp me to solve this problem...
