First of all : OH51 Kiowa ? Is it waiting to be release in USi first or ? R-Dev had change theire mind on it ?

Second : CH47 Chinook ? Will it come to P.R. [ as a Transport ? Gunship ? XYZ ? ] Cause it was announced back in the 0.7X era...

ah the Chinook, I wish it would come in 0.9

chinook has been confirmed for sangin, but it looks like sangin wont be in .9. but it might be in other maps

I do hope they come in, would seem like a shame to waste such good textures and models :S, but then it depends whether they are used or not/ are liable to be added to the game as a whole.

they really need to get that kiowa in PR and replace the littlebirds with it.

There are many models that suddenly 'disappeared'..

There's a lot of work we don't see, hidden in the contributor/developer forums.

I love the Littlebird, and i have spent most of my training and dedicated PR time into learning it. If they take it out i would be really disappointed.

Aye but it is quite unrealistic, it isn't in service with the Marines at all, and the Army uses it only in special forces roles, the Kiowa however is used actively and would be a much smarter choice.

This however would mean that the Marines would only get Hueys and cobras on Muttrah, and AFAIK there isn't a transport variant of the Kiowa, so goodbye to 1337 sp3cIaL f0rc3z drop-ins

How much does the Huey actually see use in real life?

Just something that's been bugging me. A friend mentioned the only forces that use it are the National Guard, was he right?

Well then I might want to start getting the hang of the bigger choppers then.

Do you know similar assets for the other teams too ? PR work with symetry (wrote wrong probally) in game, if they are going to realese them for one faction, they (and we too) need to find something similar for the other teams.

Its the main transport chopper of the Marines.

not really. I just don't have the time to work on it, and I'm not entirely sure how to do the lower detail LOD's, as I modeled it with polygons, not circles. Maybe I will work on it in the summer, who knows.

Back on topic, The Chinook is definitely coming whenever Sangin comes, which is who knows when (maybe not in 0.9 )

The VN3 looked done, but I havn't heard anything, the Up Armored Humvee looked pretty close too, and I havn't heard ANYTHING about the new Vodnik, but what faction would use it, the Russians? Oh well...we need to do a search and rescue!
