Hello All I have been looking for BF2 texturing tutorials, you see I'm a begginner and I never tried to texture but I used Photoshop with dds plugins once, As I said I can't find any good tutorials can you guys give me some links with video or pic tutorials for begginers I would be very happy I someone would help.
Edit: Oh yeah one thing I want to learn edit texture not create a new one for example open any bf2 texture let's say soldier texture and then edit it for a different texture like Acu or something ya know wha i mean' ?

I really want to learn because Maybe I would create my own mod or I would help people with mods...

Edit: User was banned for "Duplicate account". Banned trolls stay banned whichever name they choose.

Ya, I'm having a pathetically hard time texturing stuff

My issue is that I don't know how to do it fast.

I'm making a sky scrapper and I made each level of the building several polys tall and a few polys wide.

I have a window texture for all of them but my issue is that its taking forever to stack all the polygons on top of each other. I'm sure there's a tool for it but I can't find it.

If you know my issue PLEASE tell me how to fix this.

Also, I'm making statics for a US map, so the majority of the textures currently in BF2 do not work for me. Can i make new textures or is that like a huge NO NO. Especially when it comes to small things like traffic lights/newspaper stands/atm what not. Obviously there aren't any textures available right now for those.

Consult an R-DEV. Last Time I checked as long as you can make your Pallets worth wild I don't see why not. Just make sure you try and use as least amount of Pallets as Possible.

A Lot of Download. About 4 Gigs?. But this stuff he does is 100 Percent Ace. He provides everything I'm pretty sure. Once you get Weapons which people consider the basics, you can move on to bigger things.

Great video. He works fast so try and understand his concepts and dont be afraid to push Pause. :)
