I get kicked from a server after maybe half an hour with the "your connection to the server has been lost" message.
This started happening since I installed WIN 7, anything to do to make it stop?

You posted this 4 hours after fixing your PB problem, so I'm going to assume you didn't check out the other threads in this forum.
You have absolutely given no info as to your current setup, situation or conditions other than the sentence above this post, so I'll take a shot in the dark and say you might need to configure Win 7 firewall to allow BF2.exe access. If that doesn't work, find the appropriate ports associated with BF2 and manually configure them to accept traffic incoming and outgoing for your router/modem.
If that doesn't work, try specifying your situation with as much info as possible. Too much info is better than not enough when it comes to troubleshooting.

Well not much to say, PR on xp worked perfectly, but now I loose connection every half an hour or so. I have an AirLive Wireless adapter and a lykns modem.
I did allow BF2 thru the firewall.
I didnt do the ports, but I didnt touch any internet settings and it worked on xp like two days ago so I dont think its the ports.
Im gonna try to reinstall the game, cus if it was something with my connection it would kick me instantly not half an hour into the game.
Il try to reinstall and see what happens.

I'm going to assume your motherboard has a built in NIC. Try connecting to your modem via cable and see if you still get the connection issue. If you do, then it's your wireless connection. Which would be my first guess.
Win 7 has a lot more security features-other than firewall- that may be preventing bf2 from fulfilling its destiny.
A thought occurs...are you running it as an admin (right-click shortcut goto Properties goto Compatibility check the box that says run as admin.) If you are running as admin, did you install PR under admin?

Im running it as admin but I did not install it as admin. I am new to WIN 7 so I dont know much about it.
Its so frustrating, every half an hour I just get pulled back to main menu with the "connection to the server has been lost" message. But my internet connection is fine.
