How is this possible, how can Forgotten Hope 2 make it to top 100 but not pr??
Is this because pr won last year?

PR can't actually win this year afaik so most people are voting for their 2nd favourite

I enjoy both MODS and can't believe PR has dropped in popularity, I feel it's more like the point was made that it's an excellent game last year and wasn't advertised enough whereas at the FH2 tourneys we've been posting links to the MOTY voting polls, etc.

No worries, we'll still love playing the games we do no matter who won.

I think it must come down to rallying, for example MTA got in the Top 100 but it's rival SAMP didn't despite having ~15x the amount of players.

Is this a reflection of a current trend?

Nope, it just shows that a lot of people in this community voted for other mods since PR have already won this once.

or maybe it's because people play other mods/games while they are waiting for 0.9..like me xD

And yeah, it's mainly that people voted for other mods this year as PR can't win anyway. I wouldn't worry too much.

PR already won so I didn't bother voting.

Yeah, let someone else win this year, PR is like Schumacher in F1 or Loeb in WRC, they're gonna win unless someone stops them or they quit

There was no huge *** thread telling people to vote this year. I don't think that many of the PR Team even voted. So meh, in short, nobody cared this year.

its still most popular bf2 mod, by far.

PR is in statistical fact far more popular than FH2 (and many other Top 100 mods).

That's not over-analyzing that's just common knowledge.

Some players imagine they've got widespread support when they disapprove of a change in PR. Considering PR is actually increasing in popularity I doubt it was a significant factor in the MOTY result.

Moddb staff confirmed pr is not in top 100 to let other mods have a chance, nothing to do with votes so y'all can stop the conspiracy theories and stop the sky is falling replies

I think pr is eligible to win next year so until then enjoy all the other mod teams hard work and help vote for fellow bf2 mods!

Fuzz is correct. As we are ineligible to win this year, there is no point in PR taking up as the top 100 spot to be in the running if it cannot win. This does give a rather strange overall picture of yearly mod activity/popularity, but this is a restriction set by MODDB.
